Halloween Fairy from Chocolate Baroque

Hello my lovelies, hope you're having  a happy day. My day didn't get off to the best start as some idiot set the alarm off at work and I had to go in grrrrrrr! Anyway I'm home now and I've got some new crafty goodies to play with so I'm in a better mood. My card today feature stamps from Chocolate Baroque, I've combined some of the stamps from Nevermore with the Autumn Fairy stamps (you can find them here)

I stamped and masked the images to create the scene and added a cliff side to the castle with my markers. I masked the moon and then got to work with my PanPastels and an eraser to create a moody twilight sky. Once I'd added the background I removed the masks and coloured the images with Graph'It Markers, adding a little grass in the foreground.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
A Creative Romance: Fairytale
Craft a Scene: dusk to dawn
Creative Corner: the great outdoors
Fairytale: pumpkin/mushrooms/bats
Kaboodle Doodles: use orange
Simon Says Stamp: anything goes

Postie has just brought me some of the new brush nibs for my Graph'It markers so I'm off to try them out!
have a great day and thanks so  much for visiting
Claire xx

  2. This is very striking indeed - I particularly like the way that the colouring of the fairy really pops against the background of the castle & sky. What an amazing idea.
