I've made some wonderful friends though my hobby and also through blogging and I'm proud as punch to be part of a number of design teams. Please note that as part of my design team duties I may promote products from the companies I design for. I would never promote products that I wouldn't buy myself and will always give my honest opinion in my posts.
I work full time for a mental health charity and although I love my job I'd much rather be at home with my lovely grown up son, our two gorgeous dogs Benji and Barney and Sammy our yellow crowned amazon parrot.
Here are some pics of our lovely pets
Thanks so much for visiting my little corner of blogland

I have belonged to your blog for sometime and love all your great ideas - they have really inspired me.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask please if you used watercolour paper on your latest winnie halloween card and if so was this cold or hot pressed? Thank you.
Thanks for your lovely comment Syy. It's really kind of you and I'm so glad you enjoy my projects. I used watercolour paper for the background and Ultimate Graphic 160gsm for Winnie - I love this stuff for markers and wax based pencils like Lyras. I get it from Polkadoodles as use it for printing papers/digi stamps etc too. My favourite watercolour card is Bockingford Hot Pressed 300gsm, it's great for watercolours obviously but also fab for acrylic paints/collaging etc as it doesn't buckle or pill very easily so it will take a lot of water and lots of layers. I usually get this from ebay as you can generally find it at a pretty good price xx
