Red and Green at Graph'It Colouring Challenge

Good morning, its challenge time at Graph'It Colouring Challenge and this time our theme is 'Red/Green'. We've got a fab sponsor too, our lucky winner will receive a prize from Digital Delights by Louby Lou! Pop over to the challenge blog and find out all the details and check out my teamies gorgeous artwork too.

I've used this adorable little penguin, he's called 'Carolling Slippy' and you can find him here. I've taken this colouring palette for inspiration

I printed the image on Ultimate Graphic 160gsm paper (from Polkadoodles), I love this paper for colouring, definitely my favourite! I've coloured him with Graph'It markers (for a full list of colours used, pop over to the challenge blog). I cut him out and popped him on 3d foam pads over a little scene made with a freebie embossing folder and my trusty old Cuttlebug and some freebie stamps. The papers are oldies from my stash ad I've added two ribbons and a couple of fabric covered brads.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
A Snowflakes Promise: anything goes Christmas or Winter
Cards 4 Guyz: traditional Christmas colours
Cuttlebug Mania: Christmas animals
My time to craft: Christmas animals
Pile it on: Christmas/winter

Thanks so much for popping by

Cooking it up with Katie and Digital Delights!!

Our new challenge at Cooking it up with Katie is a day later than usual, bet you thought we'd forgotten lol!! No we're a day late this week because we are lucky enough to be sponsored by the fabulous Digital Delights by Louby Lou who have a new image release today!!
The DT have been lucky enough to have chance to play with some of the gorgoeus new images for this weeks challenge!! Our recipe this week is: Embossing, Love and Pink. Some great ingredients for your creations this week!

I've used a bp and some red glitter card from my stash (edged with MS punch around the page punches) and coloured the image with promarkers. The 'with love' ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Where is the embossing?? Hiding lol! I've embossed the little cutie ladybirds eyes, and antenna with a versamark pen and clear EP but as usual my dreadful photography skills haven't managed to capture the detail.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Lexi's Creations: Say it with love
Crafty Hos' Challenge: Monochromatic
One Stitch at a Time: Love/Valentine
Crafty Emma's Challenge: All creatures great and small
Fab'n'Funky: Let's Get Warm and toasty
Scrap Creations: Love is in the air

I hope you're going to play along with us at Cooking it up with Katie this week. Its a great recipe for Valentine cards!

In the spotlight at Digital Delights

I'm over the moon to be this weeks Spotlight Guest Designer over at Delightful Challenges !! Thanks  so much to Wendy and the DT! How exciting, especially as I got to work with a gorgeous image from Digital Delights by LoobyLou -  I chose the supercute little bride and groom and used it for this easel card

The image is coloured with promarkers and I've added a little prisma glitter to the bride's dress and veil. The  backing papers are from DCWV and are edges with a silver pentouch pen. I've stamped a lace doily heart from Joanna Sheen twice on vellum and embossed with raspberry sorbet ep. Once I'd cut them out I attached them with a little silicone glue. I added some eyelet lace, pink ribbon and irridescent gems from my stash. I added a little charm made from shrink plastic - I stamped a heart (from Elusive Images) using silver brilliance on some clear shrink plastic and punched a hole with my cropodile. I used my heat gun to shrink it and while it was still hot, I shaped it using the curved side of a pot of glitter

The sentiment is also from Digital Delights, I thought it was perfect for a wedding card. I've coloured the sentiment with some pink shimmer chalk, and added a little prisma glitter. To finish off, I've added a little lace and ribbon and a couple of paper roses (from Wild Orchid Crafts).

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
The Stampman: Easel Card
My time to craft: Glitter and Glitz
Dare U 2 Digi: Blooms and Charms
Glitterbabe's Challenge: Sparkle, glitter, bling and two flowers
Totally stampalicious Pink, Black and White

Thanks for popping by, and thanks again for putting me in the Spotlight - I'm usually very shy lol!!
I hope you'll check out Delightful Challenges and the lovely digi's at Digital Delights
