CAS at PanPastel UK

Good morning folks, its the first challenge of the new year over at PanPastel UK and we've got a nice easy one to kick of a fun year of creativity!! Well I say easy, its actually 'Clean and Simple' which is something I always struggle with as I'm definitely a more is more kind of crafter lol. Our lucky winner will receive a fabby prize from our generous sponsors at Premium Craft Brands.

Anyway I've kept it to a minimum with this very quick card:

I applied Maimeri Light Modelling Paste through the Dutch Doobadoo A5 Stars stencil and applied a sprinkle of glass glitter and a dusting of PanPastel Coarse White Pearl Medium.

Once it was dry I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black using a HOTP stamp that I've had for years.

Here's another pic of the stencilling which unfortunately doesn't pick up the shimmer and sparkle at all so you'll have to use your imagination :-)

Arianna in green

Hellloooooo, don't you just love the weekends?? I'm planning a day in my craft room today as hubby is going to watch the football but before I go and get inky I wanted to share this card. Arianna is one of Michelle Perkett's gorgeous digi stamps, and I thought she'd be perfect for all the 'green' challenges around at the minute. You can find her in Michelle's Etsy Store here

Arianna is coloured with promarkers and cut out. I've layered her up over a doiley and some white ribbon and lace. I added some white flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and as I'd coloured the flowers in her hair red I added a few little red rose buds for some extra colour. The beautiful bp is a from the mottled stone collection at  Crafty Ann's and I've stamped a swirly border with a HOTP border stamp and embossed it with white EP. The green gems are from my stash
