Pink and White at PanPastel UK

Good morning my lovelies and a big warm welcome to my newest followers! Its great to have you along for the inky painty ride lol. This morning post is a project for our new challenge at PanPastel UK where our theme is Pink and White. We've got a fab prize for our lucky winner thanks to our generous sponsors at Premium Craft Brands and you don't have to use our products to play along so I hope you're going to join us. I've made a wall hanging using Stampbord ATCs, I love stampbord as it takes in so beautifully but it works like a dream with PanPastels too! You've got to try this stuff if you've never used it before, its a-ma-zing!!

.

I began by blending my PanPastels  starting with Magenta Tint at the top and working through Magenta, Magenta Shade to Magenta Extra Dark. I fixed them with a bit of hairspray and set to stamping usiing some of my favourite stamps from Premium Craft Brands (links below) and some old faithfuls from Chocolate Baroque. Some of the stamping was done with versamark and then blending Magenta Shade/Extra Dark Pans over the top, I stamped the words with Potting Soil Archival Ink.

Next I stamped and embossed the hearts using versamark and Gilded Ivory Sparkle and Sprinkle EP. The butterfly was stamped and embossed on acetate, layed on adhesive sheet and PanPastel applied to the back.

To finish off I've  edged the ATCs with versamark and rich gold PanPastel and joined them with a length of lace before adding lots of lace, pearl trim, ribbon and a little resin rose.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Fantasy Stampers: Pretty in pink
Fussy and Fancy: all about love

QKR Stampede: lovely lace
Simply Create too: anything goes

Haviing a crackling time

Evening all :-) I've been having a wee play in my craft room today after battling through loads of jobs in the house and garden and I couldn't resist trying the gorgeous crackle effect that Kay from Indigo Blu demo's on C&C last week and omg is its a fab technique! I love it :-)

I used a little black tag, swiped with flitter glu and then applied Kroma Crackle coloured with mica powders (copper and Pear green) and blasted it with a heat gun. Its a totally different crackle to when the Kroma crackle dries naturally but its really effective, kind of  like a rough bark effect. I didn't really want to cover it up lol but I decided to add an Indigo Blu sentiment and a couple of acetate butterflies, made with a freebie Indigo Blu stamp from Craft stamper. I stamped them with black stazon, cut out and then embossed the back with Palm Green and Copper Sparkle EPs from Sparkle and Sprinkle. To finish off I added a scrap of green seam binding and some pearls for the butterflies bodies.

I'm entering this tag in the following challenges:
Indigo Blu: things with wings
Divas by Design: autumn colours
Make my Monday: texture
Sparkle and Sprinkle: anything goes with EP/Glitter/ flocking

Well thanks for popping by, have a lovely evening - I've got a date with a bag of Maltesers and the tv lol
Claire xx
