Christmas fun with Polkadoodles

Good morning folks, how are you doing with the Christmas cards? I hate to tell you but its not long til the big day so if you need some inspiration pop over and have a look at the amazing new cd from Polkadoodles! Its called Home for Christmas and its jam packed full of gorgeousness, there are of course lovely digis, papers and precoloured images and embellies but this time Nikky has gone to town and added lots of scrummy extras so check it out here. 

I've used some of the precoloured images to create this scene, I've decoupages it up and added some glamour dust for a snowy sparkle. I decided to add an acetate overlay and added some shabby white frantage embossing powder to create some 'snow'

The backing papers are from the same cd, as is the sentiment. Nikky always comes up with the most fabulous sentiments on her cds. To finish off I've added a big white bow, a red button and some bakers twine. I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Well I'd better get myself on that bus to work, I'm at a conference today so hopefully the buffet lunch will be scrummy and it won't be too boring. These sort of things are always good for a catch up and a chat though so i'm sure it will be better than being in the office
