Shabby Chic at Vintage Stamping Challenges

Hello folks, its time for a new challenge at Vintage Stamping Challenges and this month our theme is 'Shabby Chic'. As always our lucky winner will receive a $20 voucher from Flonzcraft so I hope you're going to play along. Remember we are a stamping challenge, no digis allowed!

I've created a little wall hanging for my DT project using a couple of my favourite Flonzcraft stamps
Ocean Cruise Ship Liner and one of the Gibson Girls. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo black on kraft cardstock and then coloured the scene with my panpastels.
I cut a frame from greyboard and crackled it with acrylic paint and then stamped the wording using stamps from Dreamees. I added a string flower topped with a button and a little twine bow and added some little union jack buttons.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Altered Eclectics: anything goes mixed media
Country view crafts: simply scenic
Craft Stamper Take it make it: anything goes with stamping
Little Claires: use kraft
Not just cards: anything goes
Rhedd's Creative spirit: anything goes
Simply Papercraft: anything goes/lots of layers

Thanks so much for visiting today
Claire xx

  1. Great scene! The Pan pastels are perfect to describe the waves with soft and hard edges and combining these 2 Flonzcraft stamps is a great idea.
