Blue, bows and buttons at Cooking it up with Katie

Good morning, where have the last 2 weeks gone? Its time for another challenge at 

       Cooking it Up with Katie and this week we've got another fab recipe for you AND a lovely sponsor too!

The recipe is an easy one this time around:

Buttons, Bows and Blue.

Our fab sponsor is Fairy Knoll and the DT were lucky enough to be able to choose a digi to work with for the challenge, I chose Marisa the Mermaid for this card:

Marisa is coloured with promarkers, then masked to ink the cloudy background and brayer the sea. I also added some glitter to the wave caps. I cut the 'porthole' from some glitter card on my cricut and added some aqua and blue eyelets. Marisa is matted on some blue ginham paper from my stash. I added some swirly flourishes dotted with baby blue stickles, blue gingham bows and blue buttons to embellish.
