Good morning folks, are you nearly ready for Christmas? I'm nowhere near organised yet but there's plenty of time yet (if I say it often enough I'll eventually believe it lol). As time is whizzing by so quickly, its time for another new challenge at Premium Craft Brands PanPastel UK where we've got a snowy theme this week! As always there is a fab prize from our generous sponsor Berni at Your Creativity Store, pop on over to the challenge blog for all the deets and to check out the amazing artwork from my lovely teamies.
I've made a Christmas card using my PanPastels. I used Ultramarine Blue Tint for the sky, masking the moon and then applying silver and pewter PanPastels. I used a copier paper mask to create the hills, again with silver and pewter PanPastels, its hard to see on the pic but they give the most amazing shimmer and sparkle.
The stamps used are from Stampendous, I love this set its one of my favourites. I stamped the snow stamp with versamark over the sky area and then applied silver PanPastel to create the snowflakes. I added a pretty brass snowflake topped with a pearl and a die cut reindeer coloured with Burnt Sienna and the shade PanPastels. I added a bit of colour to the stamped images with the same PanPastels and a paper stump.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
A Creative Romance: sparkle at Christmas
Brown Sugar: Christmas
Craftitude: anything goes/Christmas sparkle
Craft your Passion: Let it snow
Creative Moments: winter wonderland
Moving along with the times: Walking in a winter wonderland
Papertake Weekly: Christmas Creatures
Sweet Pea Stampers: its cold outside
Top Tip Tuesday: Snow
Wags'n'Whiskers: Christmas
Well I'd better tackle the ironing and think about cooking Sunday lunch
have a lovely day and thanks for popping by
