Altered Christmas at SplodgeAway

Good morning folks, I love making home decor projects for Christmas so I decided to alter a bottle, I adore making these but I've never used a mask before so this was a bit of a challenge. I created these sparkly snowflakes using the gorgeous detailed Snowflake border mask from SplodgeAway.

I taped the mask on to my nonstick craft sheet and then used a spreader to apply a mixture of Maimieri Glassy gel mixed with glitter through the mask, I removed the mask and left the snowflakes to dry - they take a good while, at least overnight but they are soooooo pretty I think  they are worth the wait. Once they were dry, I peeled them off and glued them to the bottle.

The image is from Chocolate Baroque, Gothic angels set, coloured with Graph'It markers and die cut with Spellbinders. I also added some Maimeri Glassy Gel icicles to the top of the bottle and topped it off with a ribbon and a bow.

I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
All Crafts: anything goes
Allsorts: snowflakes
Anything but a card: anything you dream up
Craft your Passion: Christmas anything but a card
Papertake Weekly: Christmas projects
Sparkle'n'Sprinkle: Anything goes with glitter, ep or flocking
Top Tip Tuesday: Snowflakes
Thanks so much for popping by today
