Good morning folks, just a quick post to remind you that you've still got time to enter our challenge over at Chocolate Baroque Challenge where we've got a fabulous colour palette to inspire you. There's also a fabulous free download up for grabs too, I've use it to make this card. Also remember to grab your place on the sofa tomorrow to watch our very own Lesley Wharton demonstrating Chocolate Baroque stamps on The Craft Channel!! How exciting!
My photo really doesn't do this gorgeous backing paper justice, its a beautiful floral design with a dictionary page feel too! I really didn't want to cover it up so I stamped the focal image (from Woodland Dreams) with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and coloured with Graph'It markers.
I made some rolled roses with scraps of backing paper and edged with distress ink in Barn Door. The leaves are from the same stamp sheet, I stamped with with Brilliance ink and coloured with Graph'It markers before cutting them out. I added the leaves, flowers, some little berries, raffia swirls and a seam binding bow to the corner of the design. to finish off I distressed the edges with a craft knife and added faux stitching with a fineline pen.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Allsorts: Nature
Amusing: Hello Fall
Crafts 4 Eternity: woodland
Penny Black and More: October warm fall colours
Petal Lu: anything goes
Stamping Sensations: Autumn colours
Thanks so much for visiting today
