Good morning folks, you've still got a week to play along with our 'Love is in the air' challenge over at PanPastel UK to be in with a chance to win some gorgeous stash from our lovely sponsors Premium Craft Brands so I do hope you're going to play along with us. You don't have to use our products to enter either so its a great opportunity to get ahead with those Valentine projects!
I've altered a little box using lots of PanPastels and Maimieri Mediums, you can find links to all the products I've used at the bottom of this post. I began by creating texture with Maimeri Light Modelling Paste and the Dutch Doobadoo Burlap Stencil, once it was dry I added some Permanent Red Tint PanPastel and distressed with Raw Umber shade distress ink. I used stamps from the Premium Craft Brands 'Postcard' step to stamp the postcard and to create some texture on the die cut kraft hearts and cherub.
The flowers were made with more Light Modelling Paste in silicone moulds, again coloured with Permanent Red Tint PanPastel. To fiinish off I added some pearls, lace trim and ribbon to finish off.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
ABC Challenge: C is for Cupid
Allsorts: love is all around
Cut it up: Romance, flowers lace and pearls
Dies R Us: hearts plus die cut
Fussy and Fancy: all about love
In the pink: love is in the air
Live and Love Crafts: Hearts/ pearls/lace
Natalie and Amy's: all about love
Stempelgarten: anything but a card
The Vintage Challenge: love is in the air
As its Sunday morning I'm heading to the kitchen to cook Sunday lunch (roast beef yum yum!) and tackle the ironing now so have a great day and thanks for popping by
