Good morning folks, today's project is a little wallhanging made using some of the gorgeous goodies from Work and Play 9 2XL edition Love and Kisses which is full of papers, images, digi stamps and some of the most beautiful ephemera and embellies. Nikky has been designing up a storm lately and there are some amazing new crafty goodies over at Polkadoodles
I used one of the beautiful papers from the cd to cover this MDF blank, sanded the edges and distressed with tea dye distress ink. I printed off loads of flowers, fussy cut them, distressed with Tea dye and added some Viva Gel and microbeads to the centres.
The sentiment is also from the cd, I die cut it, edged with Spun Sugar Distress ink and layered it up on a kraft die cut. I've added lace, seam binding ribbon and a little wooden button and to finish off I die cut some swirls from kraft card and popped some little pearls here and there.
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
Creative Knockouts: floral delight
Cut it up: Romance, flowers, lace, pearls
Fantasy Stampers pretty in pink
Fussy and Fancy: all about love
In the pink: love is in the air
Really Reasonable Ribbon: buttons and bows
That's Crafty: be my Valentine
Thanks for visiting today
