Hi there folks, its challenge time at Fashionable Stamping Challenges and this time around our theme is 'Colour between the lines' so we want to see a coloured image (and of course stamping) as the focus of your project, no digis allowed! There's a $20 voucher from Flonzcraft for our lucky winner so i hope you're going to play along.
For my card I've used a stamp from Emerald Faerie Garden called Isla, I won it recently from Stamp & Create and this was just the excuse I needed to colour her up. I stamped her with Memento tuxedo Black ink, coloured her with Graph'It markers and masked her before creating the background hills and sky with PanPastels
Next I stamped the grasses and dandelions from Chocolate Baroque with distress inks in various shades of green and got busy with my white Graph'it shake pen adding detail to the dandelions and Queen Ann's lace. The sentiment is also from Chocolate Baroque, stamped with Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink. I layered the scene up on white and then red card.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More: make your mark
Kitty Bee Designs: Favourite colour combinations (red and green)
Red Rubber Inspirationals: lets hear it for the girl
Simply Create too: anything goesSister Act: anything goes
Southern Girls: winged things
Top Tip Tuesday: rubber stamps
Whimsy Inspirations: use a sentiment
If you've got a minute, do pop over to the challenge blog as my talented DT sisters have some gorgeous artwork to inspire you!
