Good morning folks and a warm welcome to my new followers, i'm so pleased you've joined my inky messy journey! Today's project is a little wall hanging made with the beautiful Celtic Framer mask from SplodgeAway. You'll have to excuse the dreadful pics, I've had a dabble with creating a faux copper effect and its very camera shy lol.
I began by applying Maimeri Light Modelling paste through the mask and left it to dry. Then I splodged on loads of acrylic paint, in copper, green, turquoise and a little brown and blended it with a baby wipe. Once that was dry I also added some Vintaj Patinas in greens and then dabbed on some more copper paint. Once that little lot had dried, I replaced the mask and applied Flitter Glu to the celtic design and added Copper Kettle Mega Flake.
The stamp is from Indigo Blu, it always makes me giggle and is one of my favourites for male themed projects. I stamped with black archival ink and then stamped on some acetate with versamark, embossed the car with a sparkly copper EP and cut it out to give a bit of dimension.
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
Crazy Amigo: cars
Crazy Challenge: sentiments
Fitztown challenge: anything goes
Paper Pretties: embossing
thanks for popping by,
Claire xx
