This weeks challenge from the ladies at Bah Humbug is to make a card for a child. My guest designer card is a very girly offering. I've got really into pink Christmas cards lately and this one is seriously pink lol. I thought it would be just the job for a young girl.
I've used a layer of pink glitter card, then a bp made with Elusive images snowflake stamps and lots of pink glimmer mists. The image is 'Snow Godess' from Michelle Perkett's Etsy Store. I love this image, she is so pretty with her fur muff and collar. I've coloured her with promarkers and added some sakura stardust highlights. I've used some hot pink ribbon (recycled from a bouquet of flowers),a creative acrylic tag stamped with an Elusive Images sentiment. To finish the card off I've stitched some little beaded snowflakes using pink and white seed beads and some clear crystals. Michelle Perkett Studio's challenge this week is 'A stitch in time' so I'm entering this card with my beaded snowflakes as the stitching.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's cards again this week. I don't know about you but i've already got a box full of Christmas cards. Irene, Ann and Max have certainly got us motivated with their challenges this year.
Thanks for looking, have fun with the challenge
