Outside your comfort zone at Eclectic Ellapu

Good morning folks or I should say good afternoon as pesky blogger hasn't published this for me lol. Can you believe its April already? That means its time for a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu and the Pink team's theme is 'Outside your comfort zone' this month. The purple team have a fun challenge too, their theme is April Showers/Spring! We're certainly having our share of April showers here, everytime I put my nose outside the door I get drenched lol.

I struggle with male cards and CAS cards so i've really stepped out of my comfort zone with this card. It was very quick and easy to make though. I used a background stamp from Indigo Blu, coloured directly onto the stamp with distress markers and spritzed lightly with water and tipped the stamp to let the colours run a little before I stamped directly onto the card blank. The sentiment is also from Indigo Blu, simply stamped with Black Archival Ink.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
A Gem of a Challenge: shaped cards
Aud Sentiments: anything goes with a sentiment
Cardz 4 Guyz: something beginning with S (stamping, spots and sentiment)
Indigo Blu Challenge: Off the edge
Scribble and Scrap: anything goes
Simply Create Too: anything goes
Through the Purple Haze: anything goes

Thanks for popping by today
Claire xx
