Good morning my lovelies, eeek can you believe its December 1st already?? I am soooooo not ready for Christmas this year but at least I've got a few cards made and here's another one. This card is my project for our new challenge at Vintage Stamping Challenges where our theme is 'Christmas Songs'. and I've been inspired by 'Driving home for Christmas'. Our lucky winner will receive a fabby prize of a $20 voucher from those lovely folk at Flonzcraft. You don't have to create a vintage project to play along but don't forget to make sure the focus of your project is stamping (no digis allowed)
This was a really quick and easy card, I used a shaped and embossed card blank and cut some white card to fit the top panel. I used two stamps from Flonzcraft to create my little scene, using tape to mask of the parts of the stamps I didn't want to use. I've used Postman Carry Gifts and Children Decorating Christmas Tree. I stamped the images and used a black fineliner pen to extend the hill in the background. I masked the moon and used a stencil brush to dust on some black soot distress ink. The sentiment is from Christmas Songs, all the stamps are available from Flonzcraft.
I added some glamour dust for a snowy sparkle and a few dots of red stickles, to fnish off I've added black gingham ribbon and a bow.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments: December holiday sentiment
Fussy and Fancy: Happy Holidays
Moving along with the Times: inspired by a song
My Sheri Crafts: oh Christmas Tree
Southern Girls: Celebrations
Sugar Creek Hollow: vintage Christmas in non traditional colours
have a great day and thanks for visiting today
