Good morning my lovelies, the weekend is here at last and hopefully the weather is going to be a bit better and we may even see some sunshine! We've got a new challenge starting at We Do Doobadoo and this time its all about shapes, so hop on over and have a look at the challenge blog for all the details - there's a fabby prize of Dutch Doobadoo goodies up for grabs and lots of inspiration from my lovely teamies
I've made a little wall hanging and used one of the beautiful Shape Art templates to cut out layers in corrugated card (painted with Maimeri white gesso and distressed with Raw Umber PanPastel) and cream cardstock. I've added lots of stencilling using Burlap stencil from Dutch Doobadoo The stamps used are from Premium Craft Brands and Indigo Blu..
I've also added some white kraft stars and some lasercut buttons from Dutch Doobadoo, I've embossed them with Shabby White frantage and they looks sooooo pretty in real life.
I've used some copper eyelets and white seam binding to join the panels together and popped it on a pretty Melissa Frances Hanger
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
Craft Room Challenge: things with wings
Daring Cardmakers: Stars
Inky Chicks: Metal embellishment (eyelets)
Milk Coffee: anything but a card
Shopping our Stash: stamp your background
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Arty stamps
Top Tip Tuesday: Monochrome
have a great weekend and thanks for popping by

Wow! This wall hanging is incredible! What an amazing transformation it's gone through because of your skilled hands! I couldn't believe it when I read that it was made out of cardboard! And the way you painted with Gesso and added so many artistic elements is brilliant. I love the stars and the stamps truly are stunning. I also like how your wall hanging is built with three separate panels that go from smaller to larger. Such a clever creation and I'm so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
