Good morning my lovelies, Monday morning already so its back to work for me. I've had a bit of a lazy weekend, you know the sort - you've loads of time for crafting but completely out of ideas I bet as soon as I get to work I'll be full of inspiration. Anyway today's card features the lovely new stamps from Chocolate Baroque, the set is called Fabulous Flappers and you can find them here
The background was made with distress inks in shades of green and purple and I've stamped lots of stamps from the CB Haberdashery set and embossed them with gold EP, I love these stamps but haven't used them for ages. The focal image has been coloured with Graph'It markers and the dress has been paper pieced using Prima Firefly papers.
The dressform stamp is also from the Haberdashery set, gold embossed on kraft card with some more paper piecing I've added ribbon, lace, a button charm and some sewing themed die cuts.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Alphabet: G is for gorgeous gowns
Die cut divas: at least one embellie
Feeling Crafty: one for the girls
Natalie and Amy's: Embossing
Open Minded: use some ribbon
Penny Black and more: anything goes
Sweet Stampin: hats, heels and handbags
Sweet Stamps: anything goes/ embossing
I'd better go and get ready for work, so a big thank you for calling by today Have a great day and hope to see you again soon
Claire xx

I love the paper pieced dress Claire. Before I'd read how you've made the card I was wondering how you'd managed to get such an usual look to the dress. Stunning as always.
