Good morning my lovelies, a quick post from me this morning as I'm training today, safeguarding adults so I expect I'll be bored to tears by lunchtime lol. My project today features one of the gorgeous new stamp from the Springtime Edges set from Chocolate Baroque. I love snowdrops and this silhouette stamp is so detailed, I love it! (there's also a pretty detailed version of this snowdrop border if you fancy colouring)
I've made a little gift box using a template from the Dreamee's CD Templates and More, love this cd as its so easy to make 3d projects. It was the first time I'd made this one and although it looked a bit complicated it only took a few minutes to glue it all together. Once the little box was assembled I stamped the snowdrop edges on cream card with versamark and embossed with black EP. I distressed the edges with black soot DI and a craft knife and popped the pieces on the box.
I made the butterflies using stamps from Butterfly Daisy collage (also from Chocolate Baroque) by stamped them on acetate with versamark, again embossing with black EP and popping the acetate on a double sided adhesive sheet. I cut them out, peeled the backing off and sprinkled on some cream glitter and attached them to my little gift box.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Craft your passion: no designer papers
Creative Card Crew: spring
Frosted Designs Friday: something clear or transparent
Just Inspirational: embossing
Through the purple haze: try a new folding technique
Whoopsi Daisy: things with wings
Thanks for visiting today, hope to see you again soon
