Good morning folks, how's your week going? I've finally started to notice that the days are getting longer, its lovely to get home before its dark so hopefully Spring is on the way. My card today is features the gorgeous Hydrangea Fairy from Aurora Wings
She's been coloured with Graph'It Markers and I added little pearls to the flower centres with Cosmic Shimmer glue and gave them a sprinkle of glamour dust. I also added some glitter to her wings and dotted some more stickles here and there. After all a fairy has to have plenty of fairy dust lol.
Here's a pic of the finished card, the background was made using Ranger kraft resist paper and acryic paint, once the paint was dry I used a white sharpie pen to add some faux stitching. I've added lace, ribbon and a cute little wooden heart shaped button topped with some twine. The little sentiment is embossed with pretty blue ep.
The flowers are from the Ribbon Girl, I thought they would be perfect with this image, I've also added some tiny cream flowers, a die cut leaf and a metal butterfly that I embossed with shabby blue frantage EP.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
ABC challenge : E is for embellish
Card Mania: angels/fairies
Glitter and Sparkle: buttons
Pile it on: Add ribbon
Ribbon Girl: hearts (heart button)
Sparkle and Sprinkle: anything goes with glitter, flock or embossing powder
Winter Wonderland: digi days
