Good morning my lovelies, Friday morning and as I'm on annual leave I don't have to go rushing off to work so I'm planning on a lazy day pottering around and crafting. We've got a brand new challenge starting at Polkadoodles, this week our theme is Fairy Time and as always there's a fab prize from Polkadoodles up for grabs so pop over to the challenge blog and find out all about it and while you're there you can 'meet' our talented new teamies Rebekah and Zoe! There's a freebie digi up for grabs, all you have to do is email in and a lovely image will fly into your inbox!
I've made a little Christmassy double sided door hanger using images and papers from Angelberry Christmas cd. The images have been coloured with Graph'It markers and the cloudy background was created with PanPastels, I've added some die cut flowers, ribbon, lace and buttons. The sparkly moon doesn't show up too well in the photos but its made from Maimeri Glassy gel, if you'd like to see how to make them, have a look at my tutorial over on the Polkadoodles blog ! There is text under the moon - on one side it says 'I've been good' and on the other side it says 'Santa Please Stop Here'
I'm entering my project in the following challenges:
Bearly Mine: digi days
Creative Craft Challenge: not a square
Digistamps for Joy: anything goes
through the craft room door: anything goes
Marker POP: use blues or blue/green markers
Stamp and create: glitter
Whoopsi Daisy: use more than one image
Thanks for popping by today, pop back tomorrow if you get a min as I'll be posting my blog candy and you're going to love it (well i hope so lol)

ReplyDeleteHi Claire
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment today and for your reply about the watermark.
Your sparkly moons are smashing and look like they could be used for jewellery, assuming they set solidly.
Enjoy the last couple of days of chilling out!
