Good morning folks, well Friday is here and its time for our new challenge at Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog and we have some sad news, its going to be our last challenge! Ann has made the difficult decision to close the shop and challenge blog so its the end of an era for all of us. I've loved being part of such a friendly and talented team but we're going out with a bang as we're having a bit of a blog hop with extra prizes on the challenge blog and a prize on all the DT blogs. All you have to do is leave a comment on each blog and we'll all be choosing a lucky winner to receive an image from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop.
Our last challenge theme is The Sound of Music, I've made an inky background with distress inks and used Crafty Ann's gorgeous image Music Collage 2. I've coloured the image with derwent Inktense pencils, I usually use a waterbrush with these pencils but I wanted to keep a sketchy look so i didn't for this card. I've simply added a stamped sentiment (Chocolate Baroque) and some gorgeous music ribbon that i found in a local haberdashery shop.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Anything goes: make it manly
Inky Impressions: splash of red
Paper Playtime: use a sentiment stamp
Penny's PaperCrafty: anything goes
Simon Says Stamp: anything goes
I've got another long weekend off work as i've got loads of holidays to use up before the end of March, hopefully the weather will be kind as my poor garden looks really sad after all the awful weather (and Barney digging holes everywhere lol).Have a lovely Friday and thanks for popping by

A gorgeous card to mark the end of an era Claire. It's a lovely image and the your inky background sets it off to a tee.

A really striking piece Claire, the contrast of colours sets the image off beautifully.
