Good morning folks, I'm a bit quiet on the blogging and commeting front this week as I'm soooo busy with work and doing some training too. Its quite scary as I've got to give an assessed presentation tomorrow eeeeeeeek!! Anyway back to the important stuff, crafting lol, my card share today is an Easter Card featuring the beautiful new Ornate Scroll stamp from Chocolate Baroque. Glenda has released some of the most gorgeous new stamps, this card features one of the fabby new clear stamps but there are also some of the most beautiful background stamps and they are ginormous!! You can check them all out here
The background was created with various shades of distress inks in yellows and greens, spritzed with water and blotted. Ornate scroll is a clear stamp so its really easy to position it to create the border, I simply stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
The focal image is from Easter Traditions, again stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with promarkers. I die cut the image and inked around with Bundled Sage distress ink. The sentiment is also from Easter Traditions.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
ABC Challenge: anything goes
Avadares: Easter or Spring
Creative Stamp Friends: spring colours
Great Impressions: going green
Hiding in my craft room: green
Papertake Weekly: Anything goes
Sweet Stamps: green
Twisted Tuesday: Spring into green
I'd better get organised and go to work, don't you sometimes feel like a little hamster in a wheel lol?? (well perhaps not so little hee hee). Still Easter is early this year so not long to wait for a few days off work.
Thanks for popping by today, hope you're having a good one

Love the way your white die-cut lacey edging stands out against the greens & the beautiful use of the Ornate Scroll to create the border - a beautiful companion to the cross.
