Autumn ...

Hi, Autumn has defintely arrived here in the UK, the weather has turned really chilly and the wind is starting to blow the leaves off the trees. I thought  'Autumn', another beautiful digi from Michelle Perkett would be perfect for a card this weekend. You can find Autumn at Michelle's store along with lots more beautiful digi stamps. I don't know what this kind of fold is called but it took me a while to work it out lol. I've used bazzill bling for the base card, the dps are from Artylicious 'Essence of Nature' cd. Autumn is coloured with promarkers, cut out and layered on some foam pads. The leaves are punched using my lovely new leaf punch from Jazzlins Designs. I punched the leaves out of plain white card. To colour them I wiped a Kaleidacolour 'Autumn leaves' ink pad along my craft mat, sprayed it with a little water and swooshed the leaves through, I love the effect of the changing colours. The tiny flowers are punched from copper card.  The larger flowers were made by cutting tissue paper with Marianne Floral fantasy dies (I used 6 layers for the big flower and 4 for the smaller one), inking them red/orange ink from the same ink pad. I scrunched them up and once they dry just layered them up. The centres are made from little plastic circles, dabbed with lots of Autumn sparkles CS glitter glue and a little lime and gold stickles.
