This weeks challenge from the lovely ladies over at Bah Humbug is to use text as the focal point of your card. I've used a text stamp from Elusive Images for this card
The text is stamped in versamark and then brayered over with inks from the blue/green end of Hydrangea big and juicy inkpad. The text was cut out with a Marianne die (as is the shimmery star frame) from Jazzlins Designs. I stamped the snowflakes (Tim Holtz stamps) with versamark and brayered over with the same blue green ink. I added a little white organza ribbon, some fb diamante gems and a little charm.
I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:
Truly Scrumptious: Sketch + optional blue and green
Die Cut Dreams Christmas: Words only
Winter Wonderland: Monochromatic Christmas
Tuesday Taggers: Diamonds are forever
Thanks for looking, sorry about the shine on the pic. My new camera is still totally baffling me lol

Lovely Christmas card, the bling is just what is needed at that time of year. thank you for sharing with us at TT this week. xx Zoe
ReplyDeleteThis is just absolutely gorgeous, Claire! What a fabulous color choice, and the bling is perfect! I need to get out my brayers and start playing again after seeing this beauty!
ReplyDeleteAren't new cameras frustrating? I'm still learning mine too! When you take shots of your cards, make sure to have it on the macro mode. It's usually a little tulip shaped thingie on one of your settings (how do you like those technical terms?). It is for close-up work, and the flash doesn't usually work so have some good sunlight or lighting.
Gorgeous. LOve it. Thank you for joining us at Die cut Dreams Christmas Club.
