Stencil It at PanPastel UK

Good morning folks, its new challenge time over at PanPastel UK and for the next two weeks our theme is 'Stencil it'. You don't have to use PanPastels to play along and there are some lovely crafty goodies lined up for our lucky winner thanks to our generous sponsors Premium Craft Brands so I hope you're going to get stencilling and join us!

For my card I've used Maimeri Glassy Gel medium through the gorgeous Chicken Wire Dutch Doobadoo Stencil on both white card and a Stampbord Coaster. Glassy gel is the only thing I've found that gives a good resist with PanPastels, once its dry you can apply your PanPastels to add some colour.

The stamps used are from Chocolate Baroque, I've stamped them on card coloured with PanPastels and then stamped them on acetate, backing the acetate with double sided adhesive sheets and applying some glamour dust.  I've added paper flowers, some pretty lace, ivory seam binding ribbon and some yellow gingham ribbon too. To finish off I've popped some little pearls in the corners.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Brown Sugar: anything goes
Mod Squad: spring forward
My Sheri Crafts: welcome spring
Penny's Paper Crafty: lots of layers
Simon Says Stamp: anything goes
Thanks so much for visiting today
Claire xx

  1. Love your design, especially the dimension added by the coaster. The yellow colour scheme makes me think of spring (may it come quickly!). Beautiful!
