Exciting news!!

Good morning folks, today I'm sharing some mega exciting news, there's a brand new monthly challenge starting today!! Even more exciting is that its the Chocolate Baroque Challenge with a fabby colour challenge, a chance to win Chocolate Baroque goodies and of course lots of inspiration for you too!!

Chocolate Baroque Challenge Blog
Although the challenge is monthly, there'll be a weekly post with inspiration from the DT, my project will be along in a couple of weeks but here's a little sneaky peek.

Today's project features some of the stamps from Briar Rose Butterfly  from Chocolate Baroque. I made the tag using kraft card stamping with black ink, adding some stencilling  and then gilding the top layer of foliage.

To make the keyring I gilded a copper blank with gilding flakes, stamped the foliage and coated with a layer of Pebeo Resin and left it to dry. I adore the effect of this resin but I always seem to get in the most awful mess when I use it lol. Here's another pic of the keyring

I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
Artistic Inspirations: anything goes 100th celebration
Dream it up: stencils to die for
Incy Wincy: strings and things
My Craft Spot: anything but a card
That's Crafty: Stencils, masks and templates
Thanks so much for visiting today, hope to see you again soon

  2. Hi Claire! What a great tag! I love your key ring. I have been tempted to buy some resin as that's something I would enjoy working with, but then again, I get tempted a lot and want to buy everything, but can't so end up finding other ways. Just like with my stencil... I'm so glad you like it ;) Thank you for your sweet comment! I can't wait to see your project for the challenge too! Take care! Best wishes,
    Ingrid xx
