In the misty moonlight at Rainbow Lady's Challenge

Hi there, well another week has gone by so its time for a new challenge over at Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog and this week our theme is 'In the Misty Moonlight' . We have a fab prize from our regular sponsor Joanna Sheen so you don't want to miss out this week 

For my Dt card i've tried to create a misty autumn scene. I've used stamps from the Home Sweet Home stamp sheet from Chocolate Baroque, stamping the large house in the foreground and the smaller house in the background. I tore some paper masks and brayered the hills using Memento inks (New Sprout) and then stamped the grasses in black over the top. I masked a moon and brayered in the sky using Summer Sky, Danube blue and a little tuxedo black Memento inks. The sentiment is stamped in black.. I coloured the images with promarkers

Once I'd created my little scene, I used Brilliance moonlight white ink and a shaving brush to dab the ink over the image to try and create mist. I think i've been a bit heavy handed in places but it does look better in real life honest lol
