Hi there, its been another manic week at work and I haven't had much time for crafting over the past couple of days so I thought I'd share this little canvas I've made as one of my Chocolate Baroque DT projects, oooh I still have to pinch myself as I can't believe I'm part of such a fab team.
For more details of the techniques and gorgeous stamps I've used pop over to the Chocolate Baroque Design Team Blog !!
I've had some more good news this week too! You can find me in a feature in the latest edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft, its called 'What's your Style' and I'm at the bottom of page 67 with a steampunk Christmas card made using the beautiful Chocolate Baroque ' Steampunk Christmas' themeplate. I guess thats my 15 minutes of fame LOL
I hope you're having a good weekend. I'm hoping to grab a few hours in my craftroom but my son is going to a fancy dress party tonight and I've been roped in to make a 'Mad Hatter' costume so that will keep me out of mischief :-)
hugs
Claire xx
This is a real stunner Claire - I love the colours & textures & the real sense of fantasy with the unicorn & fairy. That braid across the bottom eally adds a gloriously feminine touch & I love the way you have balanced it with the piece for hanging the canvas.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your Cardmaking & Papercraft feature & hope you get the mad hatter bit done OK.

For someone that works so hard outside the home, you always make the best use of your time by creating absolutely stunning creations like this one! I love the softness of the pastel colors paired with the textures of the gorgeous painted background. The addition of the embossed stamped foliage makes great use of the white space. Love how you popped up the main images, and your coloring is always outstanding! What a wonderful idea to stamp the gate on acetate! Love the look! The addition of the braiding is a fabulous finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being published! I'm sure you will add many more gorgeous items to this list in the future! I also want to congratulate you on being selected for this awesome DT! I hadn't been to their site before, but thanks to you, I'm sure my pocketbook will be lighter!
I appreciate your visit to my blog again and your kind comments! I wish I could organize my time better so I could do just a potion of what you do! The level of your creativity is something I could only aspire to achieve!
