Anything goes with markers at Graph'It Colouring Challenge

Good morning folks, time for a new challenge at Graph'it Colouring challenge and this time our theme is soooooo easy, its 'Anything goes with markers' so don't miss out on your chance to win some gorgeous Graph'It goodies!

I've used my Graph'It Markers to colour the ribbon and flowers on this card. The image is from Sweet Pea Stamps, I couldn't resist her as I love Fuchsias, they are so pretty. I raided my pile of inky backing papers for the background and added a Chocolate Baroque sentiment which I die cut with a spellbinders die. I fussy cut the image and popped her up on 3d foam pads once she was coloured (pop over to the challenge blog for a full list of colours)

I used my markers to colour some white seam binding ribbon and also used them to colour the paper fuchsias (made with the Britannia rose die). To finish off I added some lace and pearls

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

As you like it: favourite die and why
(I love the Britannia rose die as you can use it to make lots of different flowers)
Corrosive Challenge: your favourite colouring medium
Crafty Creations: things with wings
Incy Wincy: things with wings
Loves rubber stamps: handmade flowers

have a great day and thanks for popping by

Flora and Fauna with PanPastel UK

Good morning, hope you're having a lovely crafty weekend! We've got a fab new challenge starting at PanPastel UK today and our theme is Flora and Fauna. We've also got a lovely talented new teamie joining us too so hop on over and meet the lovely Doreen and check out the challenge details too as there is a fabby prize of goodies from Premium Craft Brands for our lucky winner! I've made a little canvas for my DT project

I began with a little 8x8 canvas and primed it with Maimeri Gesso, adding texture here and there with my brush Once that was dry I applied versamark through the Pronty Butterfly Stencil and then added some colour with Pastel PanPastels. I used yellows and greens for the background and sealed it with some hairspray. I repositioned the stencil and applied Maimeri Glassy Gel with a palette knife and then removed the stencil and applied a layer of microbeads to the glassy gel. While it was drying I made lots of paper flower with Britannia and Sizzix dies, adding colour with PanPastels and applying some glamour dust here and there. For a bit of extra sparkle I used some iridescent beads for the flower centres

The sentiment stamp is from Chocolate Baroque, I stamped it on tissue paper with Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink and applied the tissue with Maimeri Matte gel medium. To finish off  I used Maimeri Rich Gold Acrylic paint around the sides of the canvas and splattered a little of the paint on the background

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Brown Sugar: summer
Charisma Cardz: sparkle and shine
Fussy and Fancy: things with wings

Thanks so much for visiting today, hope to see you again soon

Fabulous Flappers from Chocolate Baroque

Good morning folks, its a bank holiday here in the UK today so yipppeeee Monday off work! I'm planning a nice walk with my lovely fur babies and a few hours playing in my craft room, much better than work any day. Today's card features this months new release stamps, Fabulous Flappers from Chocolate Baroque. I just love these elegant ladies, the are lovely to colour.

The first background is made with distress inks in shades of green and my ink blending mat, spritzed with water and then mopped up with white card. The next layer was made using Fancy Flourish stamps with shades of Green Memento ink.

The flapper, vase and flowers (all from the sampe set) have been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Graph'It Markers. I stamped some of the flowers around the edge and distressed with some green ink. I added some stickles to the centre of the flowers and layered up over a spellbinders border die cut. I've used Tea Dye distress ink to tone the card I used for matting with the image.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Bearly Mine: flowers
CRAFT: make your own embellishment
Crafting at the weekend: anything goes
Die Cut Divas: at least one embellishment

Thanks for popping by today, hope to see you again soon
