Midsummer at Eclectic Ellapu

Good afternoon folks, I've lost track of the days this week so this post should have been up this morning but better late than never. I've got a week off work so I'm totally out of my routine, not that I'm complaining lol. Today's car is for our new challenge  over at Eclectic Ellapu, the pink team have a fabulous Midsummer theme for you. Not that it's anything like midsummer in my little corner of the country, in fact it's more like November than June.
I've made a little scene card using the beautiful Landscape Edges from Chocolate Baroque. I wanted to capture the slightly misty light of a lovely summer morning and so I used distress markers to colour the stamps, lightly misted with water before stamping the images. I added a wee bit more colour with disterss markers to caret the grass and add some definition to the fence. The sentiment is from Words of Inspiration, also from Chocolate Baroque

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments: anything goes with a sentiment
Crafting from the Heart: Anything goes
Craft your passion: Anything goes
Crafty Friends: Summertime
Simply Papercraft: Anything goes

Thanks so much for visiting today, hope to see you again soon
Claire xx
