Good morning folks, well today is the first day of my week off work so all being well 'll have lots of time for crafting and catching up on my blog visiting which has been sadly neglected over the last few months. Today is the first day of our new challenge at We Do Doobadoo and this time we're going 'Spotty and dotty', pop over to the challenge blog for all the details of the fabby Dutch Doobadoo Prize and to check out all the gorgeous projects from my talented teamies.
I've made a Christamassy door hanger for my DT project using the lovely Dutch Doobadoo fabric stencil on the die cut bauble and adding a 'Magic key' made by gold embossing one of the super details laser art Dutch Doobadoo keys.
I covered the door hanger with red card and added a panel of polkadot backing paper from the new Polkadoodles Festive Hollybobs collection. The Santa image is from the same cd, how cute is he?? I coloured him with Graph'It markers and added a little glamour dust to his hat and pompom
I added some white pompom trim, dotty ribbon bows topped with buttons and twine. To finish off I added some dots of white cosmic shimmer glue here and there and created some snow around Santa's feet and then sprinkled with glamour dust.
I'm entering this project in the following challenges:
artbymiran: anything goes
Completely Christmas: anything goes
Simply Create Too: christmas in July
Hambo Hoedown: Christmas in July
