I'm really loving the new Dollie goes East Cd from the lovely Nikky Hall at Polkadoodles, I'm not usually a huge fan of oriental but the colours are sooooooo beautiful and Dollie really suits the oriental look too. Nikky will be on C&C tomorrow (Friday 7th at 2pm) and as always she'll have some brilliant demos and inspiration colouring tips and techniques up her sleeve so make sure you tune in.
I've used one of the stunning backing papers from the CD on this card, coloured the image up with Graph'It Markers and fussy cut her before popping her up on 3d foam pads. I love this image, so much fun to colour
I've added one of the gorgeous scroll sentiments, little gems in the corners, a seam binding bow and some paper flowers from my stash to finish off.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
CD Sunday: ribbons and bows
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper: Anything goes with patterned paper
Penny's Paper Crafty: something old and something new (new cd and old flowers)
Top Tip Tuesday: girly
Word Art Wednesdays: Anything goes
well I'd better scoot off to work but for a pleasant change we've got some blue sky and sunshine which always puts a smile on my face. Have a good day and thanks for visiting today,
