Good morning folks, don't you just love Saturday mornings. We've had a couple of inches more snow overnight but right now the sky is blue and the sun is shining. I have to say I'm getting a bit fed up with winter now, it will be lovely to see some sunshine and flowers when spring arrives. Anyway with warmer weather in mind, here's another sample using the beautiful Fuchsia Baroque Heart clear stamp from Chocolate Baroque. I thought this stamp would be perfect with an old favourite, the DL stamp set 'Fuchsia' which features of course a beautiful fuchsia image. You can't have too many fuchsias can you?
I stamped the focal image and the background with memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with distress markers. I then distressed the edges with some peeled paint distress ink.I cut the heart out and layered it up over a lacy paper doiley. I've used hot pink and green card to matt and layer the background along with some ribbed white card.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges
Charisma Cardz: Hearts and flowers
CRAFT: Valentine's Day/Love
Fairy Tale: my newest stamp
Little Miss Muffet: Hearts and Flowers
Simply Create Too: anything goes
thanks for popping by, have a lovely Saturday
