Snowy night in SplodgeAway land

Hi there folks, just a quick post today as I'm having a bit of a hectic week with nothing but problems at work and I've got a horrible cold too.. Here's one of my Splodge Away samples featuring two of the new Christmas masks: Christmas Scene and Christmas Text Disc 2

I've used distress inks in shades of blue and a littlle black soot,  splattered  with some water to create the sky using the Text disc to mask the moon. I inked in the houses and with black soot and used a post it note to add the shadows.I created some little lights with a Graph'It markers.

I used black soot DI to ink in the text and snowflakes in the moon and stamped in Santa in his sleigh. To finish off I added some snowflakes with a white gel pen
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Well as usual I' rushing off to work, have a good day and thanks for popping by
Claire xx

  9. Hi Claire, love the skyline and especially the big beautiful moon. Going to experiment with some water splatters of my own now - I do it in varnish to make "tortoise shell" but never thought to apply it to ink. Thanks for playing in the OG challenge (and congratulations for making a Christmas card in September!!)
