I've used stamps from the Grungy Brocade theme plate by Elusive Images for this card and embossed them with seafoam white EP but unfortunately my horrible photography skills don't do them justice. I distressed the bp with stormy skies DT and a craft knife, added faux stitching around the edges and stamped delicate swirls in the top left and bottom right corners. I decoupaged the little flowers and added a dot of icicle stickles to the centres.
To make the flower and the swirly panel I used distress inks on my craft mat (shabby shutters, stormy skies, victorian velvet and milled lavender) spritzed with water and mopped up with white card. I stamped the curly flourishy background, embossed and distressed the panel as before. I added some white lace and pleated some white seam binding ribbon to the panel. The flower was made using the same inks and the gorgeous flower stamp from Grungy brocade stamped and embossed twice and layered up. I added some crackle accents in the centre and then a layer of icicle stickles. The sparkle hasn't shown up too well in the pic though you can see the beautiful textured effect on the bp
The flower is layered up on a little white doiley and I've added some grungeboard swirls. I painted them with acrylic paints and then stamped with swirls and embossed. To finsh the card off i got a bit carried away with my Viva pearl pen, i really love this as I always have a real battle with faux pearls - i can stick them anywhere except where I'm supposed to stick them lol.
